white chocolate lavender iced coffee
If you’re looking for a coffee that’s as pretty as it is delicious, you’ve come to the right place. Starbucks recently released their lavender drinks, including a lavender cold foam so we’re making a more delicious version that won’t break the bank.
why you’ll love this white chocolate lavender iced coffee:
- It’s super easy to make: the sauce is just 3 ingredients and comes together in the microwave, the cold foam is just 4 ingredients that you whip together super easily, and then you just need to brew some coffee.
- Lavender cold foam: I mean, it’s pretty AND delicious.
- White chocolate + lavender: these two are a perfect pair. The creamy sweetness of white chocolate with the floral lavender flavor creates a beautiful taste.

ingredients for a white chocolate lavender coffee:
white chocolate lavender sauce:
- White chocolate: I recommend using a high quality white chocolate bar for the best flavor, but you can use white chocolate chips here as well.
- Heavy whipping cream: turns the sauce into the perfect consistency.
- Lavender extract: for flavor, here is the one I used.
white chocolate lavender cold foam:
- Heavy whipping cream: needed to thicken up the cold foam – it’s essentially whipped cream! I haven’t tried it, but if you’d like to make this dairy-free you
- Whole milk: you’ll just need 1 tbsp. of whole milk here.
- White chocolate lavender sauce: you’ll need 1 tbsp. of the sauce from above to flavor and sweeten the cold foam
- Purple food coloring: optional, to make it “look” like it’s lavender and to make it a Starbucks lavender cold foam dupe. Here is the one I used.
- Coffee: you’ll need some coffee for your iced coffee of course. Here is the one I used – but any coffee flavor (as long as it pairs with lavender & white chocolate) will work here.

recipe q&a
How to make lavender cold foam
Cold foam is much easier to make at home than you might think! For this recipe, we’ll just froth together 3 tbsp. heavy cream, 1 tbsp. whole milk & 1 tbsp. white chocolate lavender sauce until it’s thick, then pour it over the iced coffee. If you’d like, you can also add in a tiny bit of purple food coloring.
can I make this with instant coffee?
Definitely – just combine 8 oz. of water with the recommended amount of instant coffee.
can I turn this into a latte?
I love espresso so if you’re wondering this, I like the way you think. If you want a lavender latte with lavender cold foam, combine 2 oz. espresso with 6 oz. milk and 1 tbsp. of the white chocolate lavender sauce. Then, add in your ice and top it off with the lavender cold foam.
It won’t be the same thing since espresso is much stronger than coffee, which is why you would want to add in the milk. But you’ll have a delicious white chocolate lavender latte!
how to store the white chocolate lavender sauce
This recipe will make more white chocolate lavender sauce than you’ll need for 1 serving of coffee. The extra sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge, where it will keep well for up to 1 week.
