iced blueberry latte
(In my opinion) Not many fruits pair well with coffee, but blueberries pair so perfectly and deliciously. This drink starts with a homemade wild blueberry syrup that just requires some frozen wild blueberries, brown sugar & water. Then, you’ll just combine some of that delicious blueberry syrup with your favorite milk and some espresso. I chose to layer the drink so that the milk turns a little blue and the espresso sits on top before stirring it, kind of like an American macchiato. Also, my inspiration for this comes from The Nitro Bar, who always have the *most* delicious looking drinks on their socials.
So let’s get into it! 🙂

My favorite brand of coffee is PapaNicholas Coffee, so it’s perfect that I get to work with them! I use their coffee beans every single day and am so happy to be able to spread my love of their coffee to you. Today I partnered up with PapaNicholas Coffee for this delicious iced blueberry latte and used their Colombian Supremo Whole Bean Espresso which has notes of crisp wine and a bright acidity with a slightly sweet finish . I can’t recommend them enough, so please be sure to check them out! You can find their website by clicking here. And if you do end up purchasing their coffee be sure to use code FRESH20 which will get you 20% off any of their coffee!.

ingredients for an iced blueberry latte:
homemade blueberry syrup:
- Frozen wild blueberries: I used wild blueberries because they’re a bit sweeter and more flavorful, but you can easily swap in some frozen regular blueberries. You can use fresh blueberries, I would just recommend adding in another tbsp. of water to the syrup.
- Light brown sugar: for a bit of flavor and sweetness. You can also use granulated sugar in a pinch.
- Water: just a little bit of water to help make the base of the syrup.
iced blueberry latte:
- Espresso: use your favorite espresso here. You could also use instant espresso here – just use however much the packaging calls for with 2 oz. of hot water.
- Ice: for an iced drink of course.
- Homemade blueberry syrup: we’ll use some of the syrup mentioned above in this drink.
- Milk: use your favorite milk here – I used oat milk!
