Take your morning coffee to the next level with delicious floral notes of rose and honey.

Iced honey rose latte
Skip your morning coffee run to make this delicious and easy iced honey rose latte. It starts with a simple syrup consisting of honey, rose water, and water. Combine that delicious syrup with your espresso and milk of choice for a great start to your morning. The most time you’ll spend is on creating the syrup, which is done in 5 minutes and also will yield enough for one full week of delicious lattes.
Ingredients and substitutions
Honey: helps make the simple syrup. If you’re not a fan of honey, you could use a 1:1 substitution of agave or granulated sugar to have a simple iced rose latte!
Rose water: the star of the show and really where all of that delicious rose flavor comes from in this latte! Here is the rose water I used.
Dried Rose Buds: optional, but make a nice garnish, especially if you are serving the drink to other people! Here are the dried rose buds that I used.
Espresso: the base of any good latte!
Milk: I used whole milk in this recipe but feel free to substitute in your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk. I love and typically use cashew or pistachio milk!
How to make an iced honey rose latte

Iced honey rose latte Q & A
How to store the honey rose syrup
The honey rose syrup in this recipes creates enough syrup for 7 lattes. You can keep the syrup stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week (that’s 1 latte a day!)
Can I use instant espresso?
Definitely! Simply combine 70mL of hot water with the amount of instant espresso needed as stated on the packaging.
Can I use brewed coffee or cold brew?
A standard latte is made using espresso. You can definitely make the syrup and combine it with coffee and milk for a delicious iced coffee. Just make your iced coffee how you usually do, and add in the honey rose syrup!
Can I double this recipe?
Of course! You can double this recipe, triple it, or even quadruple it as needed! This is truly so easy to throw together and is so delicious. Note that the honey rose syrup makes enough for 7 iced lattes. Using gram measurements makes it super easy to scale up or scale down the recipe as desired. If you want to make enough syrup for only 2 lattes, you would need: 28g honey, 17g rose water, and 11g of water.
Why do you measure in grams?
My recipes are all written in grams because it is the most accurate way to bake. When you use a kitchen scale, you ensure that your baked goods turn out as close to the written recipe as possible. Plus, the cleanup is way easier when using a scale! I will provide standard cup measurements but please note that I have not tested the recipe using cup measurements and therefore can not guarantee your recipe will come out how mine did. Here is my favorite kitchen scale, and here’s an article about why I use a kitchen scale, and why you should too!

Tools and ingredients
Dried rose buds: These are the dried rose buds I love to have on hand. You can crush them up to be small rose petals, or use them to garnish as is.
