Sugar Cookie Latte

Take all of the delicious flavors of a sugar cookie, and transform them into your morning coffee!

Ingredients 

Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • 75 g granulated sugar (¼ c. + 2 tbsp.)
  • 25 g light brown sugar (2 tbsp.)
  • 100 g water (½ c.)
  • ½ tsp. butter vanilla bakery emulsion
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. almond extract

Sugar Cookie Latte

  • 1 tbsp. sugar cookie syrup
  • 2 oz. strongly brewed coffee or espresso
  • 8 oz. milk of choice

Instructions 

Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • Add both sugars and the water to a small saucepan set over medium heat. Stir occasionally and allow the mixture to come to a simmer. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from the heat and immediately mix in the butter vanilla bakery emulsion, vanilla, and almond extract.

Sugar Cookie Latte

  • Brew your espresso, then froth the milk until it's hot and foamy.
  • Add 1 tbsp. of the sugar cookie syrup to a coffee mug. Top with your espresso, followed by the frothed milk.
  • Garnish with whatever you desire! Whipped cream, sprinkles (and/or a sugar cookie - no judgments!), then serve and enjoy!
