Yield: 2 strawberry daiquiri drinks // Total Time: 5 min. // Disclaimer: This post may include affiliate links.
Summer is right around the corner which means it’s time for all of the frozen fruity drinks. This strawberry daiquiri is super refreshing and perfect for those hot and sunny days. Not only is it bursting with strawberry and lime flavor, but it takes only 5 minutes to make!
Ingredients and substitutions
Frozen strawberries: I used frozen sliced strawberries. You will need to use frozen here to get the right consistency of drink. I prefer to use frozen fruit in place of ice so you get more flavor into the drink!
Limes: You will need ~3 limes, enough to get 90 mL (3 oz.) of juice. You can use bottled lime juice but I recommend fresh as it has a better flavor!
White rum: the base of a classic strawberry daiquiri. If you want to make this drink non-alcoholic, you can replace the rum with water or more lime juice.
Granulated sugar: to sweeten up the drink.
How to make a strawberry daiquiri
This drink is so easy to make. All you need to do is combine the strawberries, lime, rum, and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the drink into two glasses and garnish with fresh strawberry and lime as desired. Serve frozen and enjoy!
Strawberry daiquiri Q & A
Can I double this recipe?
Of course! You can double this recipe, triple it, or even quadruple it as needed!
Why do you measure in grams?
My recipes are all written in grams because it is the most accurate way to bake. When you use a kitchen scale, you ensure that your baked goods turn out as close to the written recipe as possible. Plus, the cleanup is way easier when using a scale! I will provide standard cup measurements but please note that I have not tested the recipe using cup measurements and therefore can not guarantee your recipe will come out how mine did. Here is my favorite kitchen scale, and here’s an article about why I use a kitchen scale, and why you should too!
